With the conflict arising in Syria, countries have began thinking about taking part in the enormous dilemma. U.S.A. being one of the main and strongest countries in the world have been vacillating to either take action in the situation or leave it as is. The President of the United States, Barrack Obama, stated, "We're not considering any open-ended commitment. We're not considering any boots-on-the-ground approach," Despite the comment made by the President, he has not decided how he would respond the the situation, although the administration has been thinking about missile strikes to Syrian President Bashar Assad to make a point. After a meeting in the Oval Office with Baltic leaders, the White House announced that the U.S. government is highly confident that the Assad government had launched rockets rockets with deadly gas on Damascus, killing 1,855 people with 429 of them being children. The British Parliament met on Thursday and voted not to participate in the Syrian dilemma, complicating the situation for Obama with England being one of the U.S.'s main allies. The President has met with both Congress and his allies, and the decision is yet to be made.

The fact that Churchill is confident about the outcome of England, it makes the entire country feel safe and comforted that they will be the winners of World War II and the government will become one of the most successful ones of the world. The tone in which the speech is said is what convinces the people of England the most and also have an effect on other countries becoming worried of what is to come from the new and improved England.

In one of the United State's most beautiful and visited tourist area, Yosemite has caught a contagious fire that is spreading at an extremely fast rarte, catching firefighters and residents off guard. The devastating fire has burned over 125,000 acres of land, destroyed only 9 structures despite the 4,500 estimated structures that are to be affected by this fire. San Fransico's power supply is at risk due to this fire and is being monitored closely. The San Francisco Public Utilities Commission was obligated to shut down transmission lines, and have a possibility of receiving damage to the water and electrical assets of the city.

People may think this is another one of those casual fire that any firefighter can handle, but on the contrary. The Rim Fire is one of the largest, fastest growing fires that people have seen in the past 11 years. At times, the raging fire doubles over night such as Friday growing from 63,000 acres to 105,000 acres. As of Friday night, the fire was 2% contained, which is catastrophic, considering the rate at which the fire is growing and destroying the historic landmark of Yosemite.

J.K. Rowling's Harry Potter Series

This is a commercial for Berlitz which provides global language learning and cultural training. It shows two German coast guards with one of them explaining to the other what to do in German. The coast guard soon receives a call a call from the intercom saying "Mayday mayday, we are sinking, we are sinking." The German coast guard, not knowing much english, hesitantly responds, "What are you sinking about?" The commercial skit depicts that there are many foreigners in the country that have trouble speaking the english language and communicating with others. The pathos in the advertisement is the Berlitz company's motto "Language for life" which makes people feel guaranteed that they will speak fluent English if they learn through Berlitz
